The information collected is intended for the Muséum national d’histoire naturelle (MNHN), 57 rue Cuvier, 75005, PARIS. It is collected and used to send you newsletters that you have requested, and to add to our statistics on whether the emails are opened or clicked on, using standard industry technology, to help us monitor and improve our communications with you.

Subject to your consent, your email can be used by the MNHN to provide you with information. The recipients of your data are the communication service and the digital content service at the MNHN and the external providers (a third party supplier provides software to create, send out, automate and analyse the email campaigns, as well as related services).

Our subcontractors have installed the necessary technical and organisational measures to adequately protect your data. No data is transferred outside of the European Union. The MNHN will keep your email address as long as you do not unsubscribe (via the unsubscribe link featured on the newsletters).

In compliance with the applicable regulation on personal data protection, you have the right to access, rectify, oppose, limit the processing of and delete any data concerning you. You also have the right to portability to request the transfer of your data when this is possible. You can give instructions as to what should be done with your data after your death. These rights can be exercised by sending either an email to newsletter[@]mnhn.fr, or a letter to Service des Contenus Numériques, 57, rue Cuvier  - CP 24 - 75005 PARIS. Please provide your surname, first name and postal address and include a copy of the front and back of your identity document. If you are experiencing difficulties in managing your personal data, you can file a complaint with CNIL.
