Musée de l’Homme Library

Open Monday to Friday

Enjoy an exceptional collection of documents at the Yvonne Oddon Library, which bears the name of a visionary librarian, a great figure of the Resistance and co-founder of the famous Musée de l’Homme.

The reading room is used by researchers and students, but also welcomes simple enthusiasts. Do not hesitate to come and consult the 11,000 freely accessible references, from a collection of some 35,000 books and 800 journal titles, of which a hundred are still published.

The library of the Musée de l'Homme, a member of the Museum's documentary network, allows you to explore a documentary collection of excellence in prehistory, biological anthropology and, more recently, in ethno-ecology. In addition, there are collections dedicated to museology, political ecology and food. You are spoilt for choice!
