The Media Library offers free access to a selection of 5,000 books on botany, zoology, ecology, earth sciences, the history of science, gardening and landscape architecture. Reference works sit alongside guidebooks, exhibition catalogues, novels and comic books.

Younger children can enjoy a fun, colourful space where picture books and non-fiction books will help spark their interest in the natural sciencess.

The Media Library’s collections can be viewed on site or borrowed: with your library card, you can borrow up to ten items free of charge for three weeks.

The Media Centre has study areas that are freely accessible without the need to register. Make use of the 80 study spaces available and the Wi-Fi to come and work on your own or in a group.

Within the Media Library, a room reserved for students of the Museum also offers 24 study spaces and collections covering the subjects of the Master’s programme in Biodiversity, Ecology and Evolution.
