The immersive virtual reality expedition is not accessible to children under the age of 8, and is recommended for children aged 11 and up. Children over 8 are the sole responsibility of their parent(s) and/or carer(s).

The experience takes place at the Galerie de Géologie et de Minéralogie (Geology and Mineralogy Gallery). Follow the signs in the Jardin des Plantes to get there.

The immersive virtual reality experience lasts 45 minutes. We recommend that you allow 1 hour in order to leave your affairs at the cloakroom and prepare.

Yes, visitors wearing glasses and/or a hearing aid can watch and listen to the content of the experience. The virtual reality headset has small speakers that emit sound over the ears.

The immersive expedition is available in two languages: French and English.

The visual content of our immersive expedition is not subtitled.

People with heart issues and/or epilepsy cannot take part in this immersive virtual reality expedition.

The equipment is not compatible with carrying a baby in a baby carrier on the stomach or back, or with a pushchair pushed by a visitor.

The immersive expedition is equipped with an adjustable virtual reality helmet.

Holiday vouchers cannot be used for online ticket purchases. Payment can only be made by credit card. It is possible to pay for admission with holiday vouchers when purchasing on site, subject to availability.

You do not need to print it in advance; we can scan your ticket electronically on your smartphone. However, you may wish to print it as the map will be easier to read.
