Privatising the Grandes Serres (Glasshouses) at the Jardin des Plantes
From the first orangeries of the 17th century to the current Grandes Serres, glasshouses have always been part of the landscape of the Jardin des Plantes. Their botanical tour pathway takes you on a trip to discover plants that do not like our harsh winters, but here produce a dreamed-of jungle.
An art deco porch marks the start of the Grandes Serres tour pathway, which takes you through the tropical rainforest glasshouse and the adjoining gallery for arid environments, and then continues into the New Caledonia glasshouse and the Histoire des plantes (History of Plants) glasshouse.
This biodiversity sanctuary is open to you to stage exclusive visits for your customers or employees. Its abundant nature offers you a haven for escape, a place to let your creativity flourish when organising your product presentations.
The glasshouses can be combined with the Jardin d'été (Summer garden), an adjoining outdoor space, for your cocktail receptions, dinners or backstage parties.
