This building of majestic proportions, designed by Edmé Verniquet at the end of the 18th century, is perfect for symposiums, general assemblies and conferences. Take a moment to reconnect with the history of science and the story of this remarkable architecture.
Listed as a Historic Monument, this unique building can host all kinds of institutional or private events: congresses, symposiums, seminars, conferences, etc.
The last remaining example of an amphitheatre from the revolutionary era, this great hemicycle sheltered a century of prestigious teaching and very important discoveries, as well as the golden age of chemistry.
The lecture theatre can seat up to 315 people for a conference and offers the possibility to organise a greeting area or coffee breaks in its Foyer and passageways, as well as cocktail receptions in a temporary structure that you could install on the Square outside the amphitheatre.
