From 11 December 2014 to 11 March 2015, the Muséum national d’Histoire naturelle invited you to be part of the great mineralogy adventure, by helping it to acquire new mineral specimens: sphalerite, bournonite and beryl.
Thanks to your efforts, sphalerite, bournonite and beryl have been added to one of the world’s greatest mineral collections.
These exceptional specimens enable the Muséum’s scientists to continue with their research work and receive cutting-edge treatments at the Galerie de Minéralogie to prevent them from deteriorating. The Muséum wishes to offer its heartfelt thanks to all donors.
To find out more about these new specimens, head to the Galerie de Minéralogie et de Géologie website (in French).
