Paris Île-de-France Digital University

Since February 2012, Muséum national d’Histoire naturelle has joined the community of 31 institutions that make up the Université Numérique de Paris Île-de-France (Paris Île-de-France Digital University).

The Université Numérique Paris Île-de-France (UNPIdF) is one of the 17 regional digital universities launched in 2003 by the Ministry of Higher Education and Research. It now brings together the 17 Paris Region universities, 8 schools, 3 CROUS, 2 PRES and the Condorcet Campus.

The aim of the Université numérique Paris Île-de-France is to be a structure for the digital development of higher education in the Île-de-France region. Both anchored in the regional territory and well inserted in the higher education community, it is the only structure to have a global and transversal vision of all the institutions of the region in the digital field. This gives it a major role in the complex landscape of higher education.

By playing the role of facilitator, the UNPIdF has been able to develop its activity in full accordance with the needs and expectations of its member institutions. To do this, it has set up two discussion and collaboration bodies: a steering committee, made up of all the presidents of its member institutions, and an operational committee whose mission is to manage the actions and ensure that the projects decided on by the steering committee are implemented correctly.
