The Galerie de Minéralogie et de Géologie is open every day from 10am to 5pm, apart from Tuesdays and 1st May. From 1st April to 30 September, the Galerie is open from 10am to 6pm on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. What is the best day to visit the Jardin des Plantes Galleries?
The Muséum galleries are very busy at the weekends and during the school holidays.
To avoid the crowds, we recommend that you come on a Monday or a Friday, or plan your visit for the morning.You generally have to wait for longer around 3pm.

How can I avoid the cash desk queues at the Jardin des Plantes sites?
For the Grande Galerie de l’Évolution, the current temporary exhibition, the Galerie des Enfants and the Ménagerie, you can buy and print your fast-track tickets in advance from our ticket office. Tickets are also available from the Fnac network.
All you have to do on the day of your visit is go to the priority entrance.

Are the Jardin des Plantes Galleries open on public holidays?
The galleries are open every day apart from Tuesdays, 1st January, 1st May and 25th December.
The galleries are open on the other public holidays, unless they fall on a Tuesday.

What is the best day to visit the Parc Zoologique de Paris?
When it is very busy, particularly during the summer months, it is more comfortable to visit the Zoo in the morning before 11am or in the late afternoon after 4pm.

What are the opening times and days for the Musée de l’Homme?
The Musée de l’Homme is open every day, except Tuesday, from 11am to 7pm.
Closed on Tuesdays, 1st January, 14th July and 25th December.Last admission 45 minutes before closing time.
