Mille & une orchidées (A Thousand and One Orchids)

This 12^th edition of the exhibition Mille & une orchidées (A Thousand and One Orchids) lets you discover the natural environments where orchids live!

This year, discover something new: a photography exhibition that will take you on a journey across the planet, to the different living environments of orchids (forests, savannahs, steppes, mountain meadows, etc.).

Follow two "favorite" tours, one designed by Christophe Duminil, head of the Senate's orchid collection, and the other by the gardeners of the Grandes Serres and the Arboretum de Versailles-Chèvreloup, two sites of the Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle.

Let yourself be amazed by this impressive 1000 m² plant scenography, a true festival of colors and shapes in which hundreds of specimens of wild and horticultural orchids flourish.

With educational activities (in French only), discover the secrets of orchids, and learn more about repotting your favorite varieties.

A 200 m² pop-up shop allows you to acquire beautiful specimens of orchids from passionate specialists.

Among the exhibitors, two institutions are present: the City of Paris (Jardin botanique/Serres d’Auteuil) and the Arboretum de Versailles-Chèvreloup (site of the Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle). They present rare and astonishing specimens from their collections.

For the pleasure of specialists and novices, six French orchid producers exhibit original plants in colorful and abundant settings, with a personal touch: the Orchidées de Prestige, the Orchidium, Vacherot & Lecoufle, the Orchidées du Val d'Yerres, Ryanne Orchidée and the Cour des Orchidées.

Two associations are present in the greenhouse to answer your questions and give you sound cultivation advice: the Fédération France Orchidées (F.F.O) and the Association Française, Culture et Protection des Orchidées (A.F.C.P.O).
