Résumé.
- Puisant dans ses Souvenirs autobiographiques inédits, l’auteur
relate l’origine de ses relations
avec T. Monod et les circonstances dans lesquelles il fut amené
à réaliser certains projets caressés ou
ébauchés par T. Monod lui-même, notamment en lui succédant
comme professeur au Muséum. Il souhaite
ainsi sauver de l’oubli quelques épisodes peu connus concernant
l’histoire de l’Ichtyologie, principalement
africaine, au cours de la seconde moitié du xxe siècle.
Abstract. - In Monodi memoriam. (Drawn
off from my unpublished autobiographic memories).
Drawing off from his unpublished autobiographic memories, the author relates
the beginning of his relations with T. Monod and the circumstances under
which he was induced to achieve some plans cheered or sketched out by
T. Monod himself, especially in succeeding after him as a professor in
the Museum. The author hopes, in that way, to save from oblivion some
poorly known episodes related to the History of the Ichthyology, in particular
African one, during the second half of the xxth
century.
