"Travaux et Mémoires" launched by the founders of
French ethnology Marcel Mauss, Lucien Lévy-Bruhl and
Paul Rivet in 1925, the Mémoires de l'Institut
d'Ethnologie encompasses all the
branches of ethnology. The series publishes field studies
monographs, investigations on traditional and modern
societies, as well as analyses of historical and linguistic
documents.
