PRÉSENTATION

Depuis 2009, le Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle, en partenariat avec la Bibliothèque nationale de France et The Biodiversity Heritage Library-Europe, est engagé dans un projet de numérisation rétrospective pour la valorisation du patrimoine scientifique et culturel sur la biodiversité. Il souhaite intégrer à son programme les publications dont il est éditeur. Les volumes numérisés en mode image et en mode texte seront rendus accessibles sur Internet, de façon libre, gratuite et sans exclusivité, via le portail documentaire du Muséum, le site Biodiversity Heritage Library ainsi que la bibliothèque numérique Gallica.

Dans le respect des droits des auteurs ayant collaboré à ces titres, ou de leurs ayants-droit, il leur est en conséquence demandé de bien vouloir remplir et signer le formulaire joint à l'adresse suivante :

À l'issue d'un délai de six mois, prenant effet à compter du 25 janvier 2012, et sauf avis contraire des auteurs ou de leurs ayants-droit, le Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle procèdera à la mise en ligne des volumes numérisés. Il est cependant précisé qu'après cette mise en ligne, le Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle s'engage à retirer tout article ou illustration, en cas de réclamation de son auteur ou des ayants-droit de ce dernier.

Since 2009, the Muséum National d'Histoire Naturelle is involved in a retrospective digitization project in partnership with the Bibliothèque nationale de France and The Biodiversity Heritage Library-Europe, to support the valorization of cultural and scientific biodiversity heritage. The MNHN wishes to include in its plan, the publications that it has published since 1802. The volumes will be available online, as JPG images and as PDF files with OCR , with a free access and non-exclusive rights of dissemination, through the MNHN portal, the Gallica digital library and the Biodiversity Heritage Library website.

In the respect of the copyrights of contributors or their beneficiaries, we request them therefore to kindly complete, sign and send back the attached authorization form, at the following address:

Six months after the 25th January 2012, and unless otherwise notified by the authors or their beneficiaries, the Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle will make these items available on the Internet. After making the item available online, the Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle may withdraw any article or illustration in response to a claim by the author or his beneficiaries.
