Emended description:Saturnalinae dépourvu de rayons auxiliaires, à anneau multiple. Les épines secondaires sont indifféremment (1) en position polaire ou non, (2) dans le prolongement des épines primaires ou non.
[Saturnalinae without auxiliary rays and with a multiple ring. Secondary spines at, or not, polar location, and, or not, in the axis of primary spines.]
Remarks:Ce genre diffère des autres Saturnalinae par son anneau (double ou triple) et des autres Saturnalidae par ses épines (primaires) péripolaires.
[This genus differs from the other Saturnalinae by its double or triple ring, and from the other Saturnalidae by its (primary) peripolar spines.]
